I miss new potatoes. I must get some more for summer.?
Russ
I've never seen them here. We occasionally have small potatoes but that's all they are.

Cliff kidney are our faves, ready for Xmas day, peel the light skin off with your nails. Lashings of butter, the best ever, dug an hour before lunch.I've never seen them here. We occasionally have small potatoes but that's all they are.
Lovely. Remind me what 'brunoise' means.
Small dice of max 1 cm diameter.

Last night, rack of lamb with potatoes roasted in goose fat, and carrot with fennel seeds and a port sauce.
Another Heinz soup from my "bug out bag".
Again it was very pleasant and tasty. Minestrone; particularly welcome given our current cooler temperatures (30°C).
I must buy some more next week.
Nice Rack! Um, I mean nice lamb chops. Got carried away, there.

I really did spend a few seconds wondering how you would get all those words onto one of these, and how you know which is front and which is back:I have a tee that says "BBQ Chef" on the front and "Nice Racks, Great Butts and Smokin Legs" on the back. I was in a local "New York" deli and when I paid my bill, the woman behind the counter asked me "What is a BBQ Chief?" I corrected her and she told me other patrons had asked her. Knowing the majority were transplants, I said it must be a southern thing. I didn't bother to tell them, "I-95 north and don't let the state sign hit you in the arse on the way out."
Interesting fact. Heinz is an a Mercan brand, out of Pittsburgh, PA -- The legendary Steelers play in Heinz Field stadium. But, they have no significant place in soups here. Campbell's has probably 80-percent of the market. I don't think I've actually seen Heinz soups in the store.
