Last night I did chicken satay. My own sauce as well, messy pic as I was busy with people hungry, I need to use props etc. this pic was with rice steaming up my lens on my phone.

Taste 10/10.

Two nights ago, I made that stout chicken dish. Last night, I used the leftover chicken in the soup I made, and tonight, I used the leftover veg mix to make fried rice.

I don't make rice much because 1) I'm not that crazy about it, and 2) I usually do something wrong (too sticky, too gummy). This time, though, I bought a bag of of rice that said it was expressly for fried rice, and sort of followed the recipe, and it actually turned out ok.

I remember thinking exactly the same thing the first time I made a Cornish pasty! But the meat does cook, as you say.
