Yes ... this is a good site for recipes where several versions are checked out and a final suggestion made, I enjoy "mixing and matching" but in this case I more or less followed the advice:Looks good, did it have swede in it?

This is lovely. Did you make from scratch?
You're really getting into the swing of bread making Windigo.
You seem to have a better hand at placing pictures than me though 🙃
These are really easy! Just self raising flour and Greek yoghurt. I'm trying Soda bread on Sunday.
I use it occasionally for (American-style) pancakes and (American-style) biscuits (so it should work for scones) - just omit any salt and baking powder that's in the recipe.I was wondering what to do with the self-raising flour, as I don't generally make cakes.
I think American self-rising and British self-raising flours are formulated a little differently.
Yeah, it's very common here. Every major flour company here makes it (Pillsbury, Gold Medal, Martha White, White Lily, King Arthur...).I didn't think you had it in America. I can't recall seeing any American recipes listing it.
If there is anything like here...doubtful. It's going strong here.I am now content that we have sufficient provisions to last a couple of weeks, by which time the rediculous panic buying should be over.
