What did you cook or eat today (March 2021)

I had a banana for breakfast - eating light while moving.

I like to get bananas green so they stay fresh for at least a week.

I've eaten laksa in Singapore but I can't remember eating it on any of my frequent visits to Indonesia.

[Edit: In early 2000 I worked for Kellogs Brown and Root on Anson Road. Frequently at lunchtimes we would walk westward on Anson Road to an excellent foodcourt some 1.5 - 2 km away. I cannot remember the name now but the food was varied and excellent].

West of Anson is Tanjong Pagar area - plenty of great food around there!

Tuna wrap and salad for lunch today, takeaway, it was surprisingly good! Avocado, boiled egg, Grana Padano (or ish cheese), Cheddar grated, yoghurt dressing seasoned with paprika...

Sometimes I make it myself, but today was not such a day (the mash was homemade though) . Bisto is really good stuff.

Just slice and fry off some onion then add it to your normal gravy recipe. For me it works best when served with pork dishes.

This stuff is particularly good (the roast chicken version not so). Especially with added onion.
