Last nights dinner was simple veal schnitzel with cabbage and carrot slaw. Pud blood orange

Tonight is going to be shepherds pie burek made with the left over roast lamb and a cheese burek.

We just had chicken cordon Bleu. With roast potatoes carrots and pumpkin. Peas from our garden frozen a few months ago. Peas were so sweet. Rich brown gravy ang mint sauce on peas. Wife said it was perfect.

Made a lamb shanks and pumpkin curry based on a loose idea I'd heard of from a Nepalese friend who spoke of a goat and pumpkin curry from her homeland (though she didn't have a recipe). It actually turned out really nice even though totally ad libbed.View attachment 59704

Omelette, cheese on the side, coffee in the morning. Brunch: lambs lettuce,store tzatziki,walnuts. Milk rice,store. The walnuts are wow. Lunch possibly a takeaway...not decided yet.

Just got the phone call for both of us to get the covid jab from the blond bombshell Dr Tina a 18.00 . I will take her some Burek.

Lunch was meatloaf with potatoes and gravy. I wanted to do a gravy but then realized I only had chicken stock so it turned into something akin to chicken velouté
