What did you cook or eat today (March 2023)?

I'm in the middle of making Grandma Pizza... this is turning out to be more work then it may be worth!
We go to this neighborhood American-Italian restaurant and always order Grandma Pizza, I had no idea that this is such a big deal in New York state!

I had no idea it had a name. It looks like it has a crust thickness between thin-crust and deep-dish, but more like a deep dish that's not so deep. The sauce-on-top arrangement looks like a Detroit-style, but it's thin enough that eating one piece doesn't put you in a food coma.

Busy all day bottling beetroot so didnt do tea, maccas as it was easy. Not much better tonight, home made hot dogs. Steamed buns Frank's with relish squeezy mustard and onions.
Kids and grandkids love these.
Quick and easy tonight as I'm still doing beetroot.

MrsT has a sinus infection, so she wanted her childhood favorite, Campbell’s chicken noodle soup.

I made Little O’Everything eggs for myself:

Turkey kielbasa, tomatoes, onion, Jarlsberg cheese, and some celery salt for a little something extra.

BBQ Thai beef salad to use up the weirdly cut 500gm piece of rump. I cut it into 5 so I could rub it with a little garlic, salt, pepper & a touch of sugar in hopes of getting some colour on it and more even cooking. Some of it was very thin.

Worked ok.

Lots of slaw type mix under the steak, tomato, cucumber & cashews. All dressed with the typical lime, fish sauce, sugar & chilli dressing.

So i thought to myself, what have I got to loose by turning the rice dish upside down?

The full saga is in the recipe thread. I've had no electricity all day, so I had to get creative. And yes, there is a lot, and yes I've made a note this time in my Cookbook, "doesn't serve 4, serves 12"...
A repeat of last night with a different protein
