She has her own plate and it has to go in one of three places for her to eat from it.

Geez, maybe I should plug this recipe into my calorie counter to see how much protein is in that Curry.
Took Mom to her annual wellness check up and the PCP advised her to have a protein shake every day, so I gave her one of my Fairlife Chocolate ones, she made a fuss and waved me off. Acoupla days later I went over to check on her, as soon as I walked in the door she shakes the empty bottle at me, "SEE! I drank it!"
Great Mom, I'll bring you more then... :wink:
 
JAS_OH1 my Mother use to live a 9 1/2 hour drive away from us and that was not working after Covid.
She lived with us in our home for 6 months until DH & I got Covid and knew that we needed to find a good/safe/senior living situation close by to us.
I check on her at least once a week, I mean go to her place, and bring her homemade dishes. She's better with that than those frozen single serves meals from the grocery store - salt bombs!

Yes, you're a good daughter. I've seen your mom meals many times and noted that your mom has a good appetite when she likes what's in front of her, and she loves your food!

Italian Bread Pizza, my copycat of Stouffer's frozen French Bread Pizza.
The bakery at Walmart makes a knock-out Italian Bread, and I thought why not try a pizza.

I can tell that cheese bread has a nice garlic salt taste on top of the cheese?
 
No pics, sorry, we ate too fast... tonight was the rest of that loaf of Walmart Bakery Italian Loaf morphed into a, we'll call it an Italian Hoagie.
A good drizz of Olive Oil on the sliced open loaf of bread as well as dried Oregano & Garlic Powder, Ham, Genoa Salami, Hot Capicola, Sharp Provolone Cheese, shredded Romaine for Moi and sliced Tomatoes for DH.
PHEW!

My Mother has not had an appetite for some time, again! She won't eat anything, "I just don't have an appetite."

Mom adores Texas Roadhouse boneless Pork Chop with the two sides of your choice (Applesauce and Green Beans).
On Sundays they open up early, so DH & I took mom there and she feasted!

Oh, AND she ate 2 of those lovely rolls and butter :p:
I sent her home with the last of them.
DH & I both ordered a Rib Eye steak and sides.

We each ate half our meals.
