Now, this is more like it. The sauce on my General Tso's Cauliflower looks how I hoped it would look and feel...it really was all about not heating the cornstarch before; this is what it looks like after heating (and, to be honest, adding a bit more hot sauce).
 
This was delicious. I really didn't think truffle oil and yoghurt would work. But it does! Potato salad with yoghurt, white truffle oil and hard-boiled egg yolks with lumpfish caviar. Nothing else added except a pea shoot and a few chilli flakes. A simple starter.
