Great minds, I've got some marinating for dinner.
I'll roast mine in the halogen oven in batches. My portions will be brushed with honey. My wife's will not be.

Too much food
I usually get Clabber Girl, but I've used Calumet as well. I haven't checked baking powder, but I know the yeast is out, but (AP) flour is back.View attachment 40597
The supermarkets don’t have baking powder anymore, so I had to go mail order. I just got this today. Problem solved! If you check the size of this monster, you’ll know that this will cover my families baking needs for quite some time.
It looks great!View attachment 40604
I found some flank steak in the freezer. My son found it first, and cut a piece off of it, and proceeded to not put it in a bag. There was some risk of freezer burn, but I washed it off and it seems to be OK. This was prepared in a cast-iron skillet.
I cut potato wedges, and rolled them around in bacon grease before seasoning them with garlic salt and pepper.
I should point out that I'd done the bacon in the oven, on a rack set over a sheet pan. As soon as that was done, I quickly cubed some (homemade) bread, tossed it in the rendered fat, then back in the oven to make some quickie croutons.

I found some flank steak in the freezer that I bought months ago. My son found it first, and cut a piece off of it, and proceeded to not put it in a bag. There was some risk of freezer burn, but I washed it off and it seems to be OK. Needless to say, we had a conversation about how to properly store things in the freezer if you open the package.
This was prepared in a cast-iron skillet. When the meat is this good, it doesn’t need anything else, although I wish I had bought some mushrooms to go with it.
