Mate you appear to be like me in requiring a clean and precise cut. As I am sure you appreciate serrated knives are not only for steak. Cutting anything soft sandwiched between pastry is a nightmare without one. The downward pressure created by either a spoon or a non serrated knife causes the premature ejaculation of the filling .Russ
