Yummo. I ate Surinamese bakkeljauw & heri heri for the first time.

The round things ares salt cod ( bakkeljauw) cakes, the squares are baked cassave and the rest is veg in spicy massala curry ( heri heri). Delicious!

Hahaha I forgot I don't own a corkscrew, so I had to use power tools. It didn't have the desired effect. I did get access to the wine however.

I actually tried this first but I just looked like an a$$hole banging on a bottle with a shoe. So I resorted to power tools instead


Why can't the bottle of red wine be like my bottle of white wine and just use a cap?

My take on a Frito Pie (I'm lookin' at you caseydog ) ... it's my Paniolo Chili in a bowl, topped with Cheddar Cheese and ringed with Frito Corn Chips, delicious lunch!

Greek mezze. Clockwise from top left. Patatokeftedes. Pita. Spanakopita. Greek lamb meatballs. Halloumi saganaki. The two sauces are tzatziki and a fresh herb Green Goddess type sauce . Everything homemade, except the phyllo dough.
