Made biltong using my home oven to dehydrate the steak.

Geez, supper plans changed about six times tonight.

First, it was pork chops. Then it was chicken pot pie. Then I remembered I’d thawed out some frozen spinach to make a spinach dip. Then I remembered the mushrooms that were quickly drying out in the fridge and thought spinach and mushroom pasta.

Ended up making omelettes; spinach, mushroom, and cheese for MrsT and potato, bacon, and cheese for me:

I love breakfast for dinner. I haven't done that in a while.

NY strip steak (ate half) and salad (simple vinaigrette dressing with green goddess seasoning added, and sprinkled with everything but bagel seasoning). I'll use the other half of the steak over a salad for lunch tomorrow. My stomach hasn't been feeling good. Strange but steak and salad sit ok. DD got a good deal on the NY strip steaks. Two in the package (weight was a little over 1 Lb.) for $14.00.

We had those last night. Cheese bacon and tomato. So tasty.

Same as yesterday only the sauce was a tad thinner to make it easier to reheat. I just put a touch too much water in it...

Hubby is home very late tonight, so he'll be cooking tomorrow. No prizes for guessing what it will be. If anyone has any tactful suggestions 🙏 on how to get him to "cook" something else, answers via a pm please.
