Lol, used to hunt with a .308 many years ago, grandkids would kill me if they only knew. When fishing with grandkids years ago, miss 8 at the time caught a fish, I cut its head off, she screamed the wharf down and called me a killer. Didn't speak to me rest of the day. I'm not going there again.

Must be something genetic? IDK. I loved fishing from when I was about 6-7 years old. My dad taught me that if I caught them and wanted to eat them, I had to clean them, so he showed me how, and I did from then on (until the age where if there were boys around, it was easy to get one of them to do if for me, LOL). But it never bothered me. Might be able to do that with poultry if I was absolutely starving. But if I had to kill and slaughter warm blooded mammals, I would probably never be able to eat it. Maybe never again.

The first run with the new smoker...I figured I would start with the classic pork back ribs..I had some stored away in the freezer so here they are rubbed and ready. About 3 hours in, then wrap with foil for another 2...then sauce a bit and in for another 1/2 an hour, or so..wish me luck...more pics to follow

Let's see, from the bakery for brunch:a lovely apple crostata(will do my take anytime soon), a great, but somewhat small for my hunger sandwich, with mozzarella, egg, tomato, Greek yoghurt for in between, chilli flavoured sunflower seeds, sour cherry pastry...

And now finally home 8 pm, hungry again😎😁

I wish you luck, but it looks like you know what you are doing very well.

I guess granddaughter never thought ahead what to do with the fish if we caught one. They havnt been fishing since. The boys won't have any trouble, they are typical boys being adventurous.
We had Aussie neighbours years ago who had chickens, they asked me to kill a few and dress them. No problem.

I fried up some Buffalo wings. They were good -- actually, hard to mess up. No pictures. I've posted my B-wings before, so I don't want to waste your time posting the same meal over and over.

The number one rule of eating hot wings is to keep your hands away from your eyes. I'm not sure when or how, but I broke that rule, and the right corner of my right eye was on fire for a few minutes.

I don't think it would be boring. And I don't think I've seen your wings before. But I've only been a member for about a year.
