You are very good at picking things we don't see often in the US.
I looked it up and you do have it there and I'm pretty sure you will know of it by name if nothing else. Its only available here from some supermarkets here at certain times of year, so not exactly an everyday thing. Its fairly easy to grow though. So that is a clue.
