A man goes into the doctors feeling a little ill

The doctor checks him over and says, 'Sorry, I have some bad news, you have Yellow 24, a really nasty virus.
It's called Yellow 24 because it turns your blood yellow and you usually only have 24 hours to live. There's no known cure so just go home and enjoy your final precious moments on earth..'
So he trudges home to his wife and breaks the news.
Distraught, she asks him to go to the bingo with her that evening as he's never been there with her before. They arrive at the bingo and with his first card he gets four corners and wins £35. Then, with the same card, he gets a line and wins £320. Then he gets the full house and wins £1000. Then the National Game comes up and he wins that too getting £380,000.
The bingo caller gets him up on stage and says, 'Son, I've been here 20 years and I've never seen anyone win four corners, a line, the full-house and the national game on the same card. You must be the luckiest man on Earth!' 'Lucky?' he screamed. 'Lucky? I'll have you know I've got Yellow 24 .'

'**** me,' says the bingo caller. 'You've won the raffle as well !!

How many levels of personal hygiene can you neglect during quarantine? Asking for a friend.

I can skip a shower for a day or two, but I eventually feel dirty and have to do it. Shaving, I can skip that for weeks. Wearing the same clothes... If I don't go anywhere or do anything, hey, wear 'em till they smell bad. I don't want to do a lot of laundry for basically clean clothes that I'm not going to wear in public beyond going to the grocery store. Clothes don't get dirty sitting at your computer desk all day.

So , what makes me smile during Covid-19? Getting up, not shaving, and putting on the clothes I wore yesterday.

I shower every day, but only one time in winter. I wash my hands about a dozen times a day. I shave about one time every week. I change underwear every day, my shirt every two days (unless going out) and my denims every year.

I shower every day - twice daily in the summer. Clothes are sort of mixed - depending on what I'm (not) doing, trousers might make two, or even three, wearings, same with a pullover/jumper/sweater, but underclothes and shirts/socks are fresh every day.

Shaving is another thing. I wear a beard that goes through various stages of being shaped and trimmed. The other day, I shaved the whole thing down to a bare stubble, and I haven't touched it since.

I never, ever shower. I can't stand the things - nasty and squirty! A bath is another matter - but every day? I was brought up to take a bath once a week. The hot water cost money. I'm not a fan of washing obsessively, except for my hands. Hair can be left quite a while and will even benefit from less frequent washing to let natural oils do their work.

My grandparents on my mom's side were like that. I remember when my grandad had to take a shower in the hospital once, and when we walked in, he was screaming bloody murder, near tears, really, shouting that he felt like he was drowning. Nurse Ratched wasn't letting him out until he was done, though.

I love a good, long, hot shower. My water heater was made for a family of four, so I can do that. My shower is huge -- 4-foot by 6-foot. It has a seat for washing your feet (or for women to shave their legs). There is a mirror on one end, so I can shave in the hot, steamy shower.

The thing I can't stand is turning the shower off, and getting out.
