Text conversation with my mom had me laughing.

She sent me a picture of my dad, sitting in a chair, hat on, coat on, ready to leave. I know they go to breakfast about that time every morning, so I texted back, "Someone looks ready for breakfast!"

Her response was classic Mom:

"It's your father. Don't you recognize him?"

And no, she wasn't making a joke. She was serious.

Airlines here are offering New Zealand to Australia return fares of $140 nz. A year ago it was $800.
Unbelievable!! I'm not going anywhere? Lol.

Back to topic,lol, grandkids and family here yesterday, mr 7 was given a pop gun and a whistle from someone. He decided he would make as much noise as possible, noise didn't seem to bother others but the pop pop popping really p'd me off, then the whistle when he got bored with that. While he sat down for his tea I discreetly picked them up and put them under a seat I was sitting on. He spent an hour looking for them. I put them in the bin that night. I laughed and so did the wife when I topd her hours later.
