Yes I can imagine that, it is easy for non-Italians to get confused by this wording.
The term 'pasta' in Italiano also means something creamy and spreadable or not solid, not only from a culinary point of view.
For example, in Italy dentifricio (toothpaste) is actually called 'pasta dentifricia', although hardly anyone says this anymore because it's a bit old-fashioned.

It seems very tasty to me!

Stocking up on lager beer as a precaution.

More Kroger technology chicanery: I was using their scan-and-pay app on my phone, scanned a can of beans, supposed to be 10 cans/$7...it came up $9.70 for one can. I asked Customer Service to price-check it, and it scanned for them ok, so their recommendation was to go through the kiosk, transfer my order to that, and then scan the beans at the end.

Did that, but it took a few times to get it to work. The first kiosk I tried to use wouldn't work.

I was also unable to get gruyere or rye flour. The cheese didn't surprise me, but the flour did. Plenty of every other kind of flour.

Went to the restaurant supply place to get some orange San Pellegrino water for craig. Got some mascarpone too. They were restocking shelves and none was out. The guy asked me if I wanted the small or large one. I said large because I wanted it for a couple of things. Oops, got a 4 pound tub, didn't realize the large was that large. Guess I'll be looking for Mascarpone recipes.

Do you go to Restaurant Depot? I stopped in at Ace Mart restaurant supply on my way home from my MD appointment. They just have restaurant "stuff," no foods.

I am a bit CDO. These things are important.

I could have done that yesterday but now one of the cases has been removed to replenish the fridge. Which one would you have had me remove from the adjusted stack?

Did you stock anything for next week?

No, I'm tight for space.

A couple of years ago, we were in the checkout queue at Makro behind another foreigner who had a case of beer in his trolly. I had my usual 10 cases which he looked at suspiciously. "I can't be arsed shopping every day" I said.
