On every receipt, there's one entry for something that I have no idea what it is. This time, it's something listed as CHRN GRL ORG, and it cost me $1.99. Probably something organic, but .

The last tub I bought, it sat in my fridge unopened for a few months, and I ended up tossing it because I got tired of moving it out of my way.

I happened to mention to my mate that I couldn't find any chilli powder other than in the small jars (Chilli flakes are in abundance).

Yesterday he found chilli powder in Makro so bought a bloody kilo for me!

I suppose it serves me right. The last time I was in Bangkok he asked me to buy green cardamoms for him - I got him a 2kg pack.

They are a particular kind of chickpeas, smaller and tastier than the standard ones. But gosh, they are as hard as little stones, I’ve soaked them since last night and still a bit hard. I hope they will be ok for lunch time

Yeah they are pretty but like little stones for real, I’ve soaked them all night long, still 2 hours this morning, cooking them for 3 hours, ready a little time ago
