The two gummy bear thingies are for great-nibs of MrsT’s. Dog biscuits for the neighbor’s dog. One pud for me, one for a friend. Our fourth bottle of nog. 😳

Got the last box of Roses. Can’t believe I missed getting a free tin by just one box of Chex - I didn’t even read the front.

That’s our prime rib - mildly annoyed, as they were selling them as fast as they could get them processed, so there weren’t any out. I had to ask the butcher, and instead of bringing me out three or four to choose from, he brought me one.

Granted, it’s likely one I would have chosen anyway, but I still would have liked some input. MrsT was apoplectic with not being able to look through every single one they had, even though she’d tell you herself she has no idea what she’s looking for.

MrsT on our way into the market: “Don’t go in here buying a bunch of cookies we don’t need. We have plenty of them at home!”

We already had plenty of cookies.

Those peas will go with, no surprise, some frozen fish filets and fries/chips…but no buttered noodles!

There are always a lot of food deliveries when I get back from Spain.
Some due to wanting to get certain ingredients I haven’t been able to while away and some due to needing to restock the supplies. This time there are also some Christmas influenced ones.
Last deliveries of today -

Twelve 750ml bottles of sulphite free Scrumpy. Well 11 because one in the fridge waiting for testing later 😂

I have some mulled cider sachets to try out with some of this cider when the Christmas tree goes up tomorrow.

Field Doctor ready meals. Decided as I have a long cookathon ahead with all the Christmas food I’d give myself a break from the daily cooking with 5 days worth of these rather excellent ready meals.
I don’t have a lot of experience of ready meals what with so many of them being racked out with wheaty ingredients but I can certainly taste the difference with these lovely clean tasting, high veg content ones that field doctor produce.
I actually look forward to eating them, unlike normal ready meals.

This is my third order.
I wasn’t impressed with the number of substitutions to start with but they explained they’d been overwhelmed by orders since the NHS endorsed them and then the Breast Cancer Campaign also recommended them.

They seem to be back on top of things now.

Anyways if you’re under the weather or need a bit of a hand with freeing up time and you’re in the UK then these are worth a look.
They cater for so many different dietary requirements it’s a surprise how many options you can have.

I ticked, gluten free, dairy free and sulphite free and still had a lot to choose from.
Very happy.
