Yeah!!! My USPS carrier, Katy, dropped off about 5 lbs. of deer meat that her daughter, whose 13, bagged this past season with her new 5.56 she got for her birthday!
Plans? Very few.
English class at 3.30pm
We've got one of my wife's cousins passing through from Italy, however, so I have to get some tomatoes, bread, mozzarella, etc. for a few snacks this evening.

I just bought some pork chops.
So I got the tomatoes and bread, and some white cheese; but of course, supermarket expeditions never go down as you want them to, do they?
No sugar, so 3 kgs of that. Light bulbs, because one blew when I turned on the lights last night. Oh yeah, ran out of potatoes yesterday..No pancakes for my son this morning because there was no pancake syrup - right, resolved. Better just get a large bottle of coke, for the cousin this evening. Ooooh, there's that fresh garlic I've been looking for!
All of a sudden $15 turned into $55...

Bought more wings!
A chocolate bar that I missed the 'WHEAT' warning in the ingredients list until I bit into it and thought what's this? I taste like.. argh!
The only remedy was shall we say fairly unladylike
Also picked up popcorn for Mr SSOAP (his favourite snack and some shin of beef for some potted beef recipe

I bought dog food.(For Mr porky, of course). Beer - because it was there. Tomatoes, because I had to throw out a couple that were rotting this morning.
And then, as I meandered around the vegetable section, I found:
Rhubarb!!
2.5 kgs.
It's very unusual to find it here, and the only places it appears, very occasionally, are in two specific supermarkets. Then, as soon as you've got it in your cart, people come up to you and ask: "what's that stuff?? What do you do with that??"
