What produce/ingredients did you buy or obtain today (2025)?

That's a really good price! Usually for ground meat I'll get an assortment of stew meat when it's on sale and grind it myself. Where I need fat I'll grind in some bacon.

I'll get hearts or tongues sometimes. Usually pork since the beef ones are so big. You ever get them? Pickled pork tongues are good! :hungry:
No I haven't. My paternal grandmother like tongue as did my husband's grandmother. I've never tried them. As far as pickled meat goes, I really don't like pickled anything. Not even pickled cucumbers. I'll eat them on a burger and I like them battered and fried.
