You can pause real tv too.There isn't a data line coming into my house so I watch whatever on the phone. It's almost got a 6" screen and has an accessory 5 watt sound bar!
Tubi app and probably a movie. I haven't watched real time TV in years; I can pause all this.
Well all the TV tech has moved on a mile since I bought my last TV. They connect to the internet and sort out all that buffering stuff for you.Only way to get a signal to my TV is hotspot from the phone. 50 gigs goes pretty quick so I just use the phone; unless the movie is particularly enthralling.

If we could make it work on 13-17mbps I’m sure you could too.The adds come in at 5Mbps and the data I'm watching maybe 600K.
When in Las Vegas I had 700 Mbps into the modem and averaged 80 or so out to devices. The things you get used to! Wasn't on acres out in the woods either.

There are no guarantees if your location is shared with a lot of other users it won’t get throttled at peak times.Probably much better but I'm averse to the signal disruption, that I'll still be charged for, that the weather and trees would incur. The treetops are only a few degrees lower than the dish angle. Also, the dish providers have limits on high speed data after a certain point at which point I'm right back here again but have two bills for data!
