What will you be watching on TV tonight (2025)?

THANK YOU both. Just searched it. Set DVR to record series. Going to watch Jack the Ripper episode right now, on PBS On Demand. Be back later.
I watched On Demand the Jack the Ripper episode and the Princes episode. Pretty good.
Not sure for this evening. Shrinking, Soprano’s, the last half of the Jack the Ripper thing or maybe start Dexter which has been recommended so many times I’ve lost count 😂
The Jack the Ripper one I saw was S2|E1. Is there a second episode that hasn't aired here yet?

I'm from New Jersey and have driven past places where they filmed the Soprano’s. I worked for someone in 2003 who lived a few houses down from where they filmed the Soprano’s house scenes in the Caldwell's. I never really cared for the show after like the first season or two.

Every PBS affiliate can alter the scheduling, but yeah, here there’s just the one episode, and the next one will be broadcast…tonight, and it’ll be available on the app starting tomorrow, for one week.

If you like Lucy W.’s style, she also has a short series called “Holmes vs Doyle” (or the other way around), which examines how Doyle both loved and hated the character Holmes, going into a fascinating study of his relationship with the character and his fans.

I set to record the series (All episodes, All channels). I'm not showing a second Ripper episode. Tonight is S2|E2 "The Gunpowder Plot" (Gunpowder Plot in 1605) on WNET (PBS).

Yeah, I kept watching it though. The last season (or the last 3) was awful.

Yeah, it’s the way PBS is, some affiliates won’t even carry a show, and those that do, there’s no consistency from one affiliate to the other.

I have…four PBS stations I can tune to, and they’re all different. I like that, because it usually means at least one of them will carry a particular show I like - but that’s over-the-air (antenna TV); using the app, I have to choose one station and one only.

My cable company has a bunch of PBS channels in the lineup. I wish Father Brown would come back. I really liked that show. But when COVID-19 hit, it never came back.
Tried watching that Sister whatever show but didn't like it

Hey, I googled WNET, and it comes back as Channel 13, and if that’s right for you, the second episode is indeed tonight:

Father Brown is on Britbox, if you have that (or are interested in getting it) - we watch so much stuff on Britbox.

Sorry it did sound like there’s a second episode but no I stopped watching it half way through and so meant the second half of that episode.

Yes, channel 13. And yes, that recorded and George III. I thought there was a second episode of Jack the Ripper.
I also like Brit/Canada/Australian shows. Murdoch Mysteries is a favorite.
But don't have Britbox.

Thank you for clarifying that for me.
