Remember how Right Guard underarm spray used to smell? The aerosol in the gold-brown can?
That's what over-hopped beer tastes like to me, like someone sprayed me right in the mouth with that stuff.
Do you remember this beer commercial from the 1980s? This is me with a hoppy beer.

Same - I’m not a fan of the trend of overly-hopped IPAs, that taste like bitterness and nothing else.

Peroni is bordering on hoppy, but I like it with pizza.
I've never had Tuatara.
Corona is a Mexican brand, but it's gringo beer. Not bad, but it's basic mass-market beer in the US.

Then it was the hops. Probably the Colgate variety.
Mini-bar set up in the room upon arrival, included, along with some beer, fizzy water, and pop in the fridge.
No opener for the beer, though…had to call room service for that. Still waiting…

An old fashioned (which watered my eyes on the first sip), and a dirty banana, which I thought the waiter said was a bearded banana, which wouldn’t be quite as accurate a name, but would be a lot more fun to order.
