Sounds like I'm taunting TastyReuben, but that's not true. Last time I was in Cinci, he invited me for biscuits and gravy, then we went to a phenomenal liquor store to stock up... and then we had a couple of beers at a delightful restaurant/bar on a hill overlooking the city. There was a brown ale on the menu and I thought "Oooh! That was my grandad's favourite!" but, given my experience with American beer, I asked for a taster first.
Sure enough - banana brown ale.
Nope, their description says…”notes of vanilla and oak.”No bananas in it?
…maybe!

Had a buddy in NV made homegrown beer. It was really tasty. Best one he ever made was a dark chocolate bach I think it was.
