Done with this mint family *thing* trying to get into my garlic bed. It's my fault since I used grass clippings and found out after the fact that pieces of this will make new plants..

About 300g of our favourite raspberries (a variety called tulameen) for tomorrow's breakfast.

The other variety have finished so I've cut them back hard to help them. They were then watered.

The space in the back right is where they normally grow. I've cut them back to about 10 canes. They grow off the previous season's growth, so those 10 canes plus any more that grow, will die back shortly for the heat of summer, then be shoots will grow in all of those canes (about 10 or so per cane) and flower, fruit and the whole cycle start again by the end of autumn.

As you can see one of my butternut squashes has started to take over. It has climbed the bean frame and is now hanging off the shading cloth coming towards me along the inside of the roof of the veg plot!
