It does look yellowish if I do a google image search - but the stuff that came out of the tin was white! I have another tin (different brand) which I will open at some point to compare.

No - not yet. I do know about it. I was trying to be more inventive with it. My son has had the pulled jackfruit a few times in a local pub which has a vegan chef.
