I see when I'm back home.Never heard of that and Google doesn't show any results. What type of lettuce is it? Thousand island dressing I have heard of.
Yes, I call this butter lettuce. Or ' botersla' in Dutch. That lettuce looks nice, it doesn't look like our "round" lettuce, which is iceberg. That looks like what I have seen labeled as Boston or Bibb lettuce, I think also butter lettuce.

This is all I could find.
Valeriana? I thought that was a flower/root used to help you sleep.
I'm pretty much the same way..I find I use them to accompany different dishes..where some are appropriate for one but just won't do for another dish..I love all the lettuces, baby romaine, radiccio, iceberg, cabbage lettuce, curly endive, chicory, green and red oakheart, lamb's lettuce, rocket salad
For the record, that round lettuce, at my local Kroger, will be labeled Bibb lettuce on the price card, the label on the lettuce itself will say Boston lettuce, and on my receipt, it’ll say Butter lettuce…or the other way round!
I was thinking that same thing.Well, at least they all begin with 'B'!
