Would you call gambling a hobbie ?
It consumes a bit of time here. We both bet on a Saturday here. Wife also runs a syndicate for our friends.

Yeah - its a hobby. I like a bit of a flutter too, especially on the horses. Of course, gambling can also be a tragic thing for some. In moderation its fun.

Yeah I know my limits.
We usually do $4 trifecta. First 3 home.
A card of 10 races costs us 20 each. Boxing day here we got a big one 600. So we kept betting with their money. We drew out 400 each and carried on betting until end of February. Pretty good return.
Our syndicate costs us 5 a week. 40 to spend . We draw a list up of who's turn it is. If you dont get 40 back the next person has a turn.
Wife runs it and we get paid mid December at a restaurant of choosing.
Last year we got 230 back each.

I recently lost a dear old friend and inherited his vinyl collection. I spend a lot if time in my upstairs music room listening to them and others on a vintage stereo.

Amazing! Where did you find such a beautiful puzzle?
I can't remember I'm afraid.
The original art work was by Ciro Marchetti and it is called Ice Palace.
Although this was a 1000 piece puzzle it was a panorama aspect ratio puzzle which meant it didn't fit on either of our 1000 or 1500 piece puzzle boards so had to do it on our 3000 piece puzzle board.
