When I think of Ohio in the Autumn, this is what comes to mind:

We've just planted 12 plants out in the garden in the weekend, kids took rest for their gardens.

It's very common here. It used to be called Indian corn, for whatever reason, and still is by a lot of people, but more and more often, I see it advertised as "decoration corn," or "patchwork corn."

We get it here too, but wife only buys pearl??? I think.

Texas corn looks like that in July. It is all feed corn down here -- not something for human consumption. When they machine harvest it, I have corn husks blowing into my yard.
