A second chook had stayed laying this week. 2 eggs so far and all I know it's that it is one of 2 chooks, probably. They're are 3 in the house now being socialised. One of them laid an egg whilst we were not looking so we have no idea which one it is still...

So that's two of my 6 pullets that have come to lay this week. A friend is going to purchase my surplus eggs off me, hatch then or and sell them.

These add such a lovely country rustic ambiance to the table .. All artisanial hand made ..

I purchased them for gifts for my daughter in laws, parents and parents in law in the colors of their kitchens / dining rooms. I bought a set of 4 for us ..

I am an enormous enthusiast of wild mushrooms, and have done a course of types. It is a life long study however. Very fascinating.
