Now, this is funny. I was planning to post this today anyway - I made it yesterday - and I actually thought I'd be the first one posting a bacon recipe for this challenge. It seems that bacon is a popular ingredient!!!

Also mildly interesting: this was going to be my submission for the Coffee challenge, but I didn't have time to pull it together. It really is more bacon-related anyway, but I like what coffee brought to the recipe.
