Cryptic food and drink

I feel it only reasonable to point out that this is open to everybody. It's just that the number of participants seems to be a bit limited.
It seems that either people aren't interested in cryptic clues and anagrams, or they find them too difficult. :( @SatNavSaysStraightOn still has one to solve for which I've provided explanations of the clue.
Its all very logical. If the clue says head of garlic, then it means the letter 'g' is in the answer. I could just as well have said 'head of grouse' or head of 'goose'. Its only the 'g' you use so ignore the rest of the letters in 'garlic'. So you are then looking for 5 more letters to make a word meaning ' a stew'. So what are we left with? Foolishly (that indicates an anagram) eat (head of garlic = g) in, a stew (stew indicates the meaning of the solution).

Could it be a word she hasn't come across? Here's another BIG clue, @SatNavSaysStraightOn. Think of Morocco!

Been struggling with an eye infection making reading difficult recently. Online work has had to be kept to an absolute minimum.... Hence my absence of late which I suspect will continue until I have finished knitting one the 6blankets my sister has asked for four her bridesmaids for August!. They are 6 foot by 6 foot highly complex and very unique blankets which usually take my mother around 4 months each if she works on them non stop... Hence they are being outsourced... In on the autumnal coloured one... Luckily I don't need a TV to be in focus when I'm knitting.

Tagine btw.

I've heard of computer viruses, but I didn't think they could spread eye infections...I had to see the optician this morning. It turned out to be a 'floater', irritating but not too dangerous. It's like having a small fly darting about in front of your eye. Annoying, but nothing worse.

I've got dozens of those 'floaters'. Had them for years. Worse when looking at the sky, I find.
P.S. Has cryptic petered out? It was keeping me busy in odd moments and good for the brain! Plus a good joke now and then.
