Well I thought Gazpacho immediately I saw the clue but couldn't work out why - so I thought it wrong. Lets me take a rather ungainly walk through it...

Briefly contemplate: 'gaze' minus 'e' = gaz. A chop = pacho, if the letters are rearranged. So is 'reserved' the anagram indicator?
