In a rather unorthodox way in incentivizing people to get vaccinated, the White House has tapped nine of the largest dating sites to offer perks and COVID badges to those who've been vaccinated against COVID-19, according to Axios.​

Vaccinated users on Tinder, Hinge, OkCupid, BLK, Chispa, Plenty of Fish, Bumble, and Badoo will obtain exclusive access to premium content such as boosts, super likes, and super swipes. With proof of vaccination, users will be able to receive a COVID badge in their vaccination status.​

Because not enough members are vaccinated, The House leadership has kept the mask mandate in place.

Now, before I go on, every governing body, probably everywhere, has its nut-jobs. In the US House right now, that nut-job is Rep. Marjory Taylor-Greene. She compared having to wear a mask in Congress to Jews having to wear gold stars in Nazi Germany. She even mentioned being rounded up and sent to gas chambers. That's a special kind of bat$#it crazy.

We supposedly hit 50-percent totally vaccinated today in the US. Vaccinations are open to all adults now, but young adults are invincible, so they are in no hurry. Soon, we will running up against the wall of people who CAN be vaccinated, but refuse to do so -- for whatever reason. :facepalm:

We supposedly hit 50-percent totally vaccinated today in the US. Vaccinations are open to all adults now, but young adults are invincible, so they are in no hurry. Soon, we will running up against the wall of people who CAN be vaccinated, but refuse to do so -- for whatever reason. :facepalm:

The number of fully vaccinated people in the Netherlands is now 5.875.492. So incredibly slow.. :scratchhead: I'll be one of them next week,I am very lucky that my doctor fought to get me on the priority list. We're a country of 17,28 million people so these numbers are just far too low after the vaccination programme has started 6 months ago!
