I finally took my downstairs (big) Dyson vacuum apart. I only found one pretty minor clog, but it must have been enough. It works now.

Vacuumed (Hoovered, or is that Dysoned) the first floor of my house.

We call the bottom the ground floor. First floor is upstairs.
Who's right???

Ground floor is used in office buildings here, but the floor above it is still the second floor. In some very old buildings, you may find Ground, 1, 2...

Yes, there are a lot of buildings here that go from 12 to 14, with no 13th floor. It's because of the superstitions behind the number 13.

We are going out this afternoon, a spin in the new car and also to get me out of the house, in the past 2 weeks I have been out once and that was yesterday...starting g to get cabin fever.

My Father called Costco "the hundred dollar club". `cuz you couldn't walk out the door without spending at least $100 :)

What kills me is, it was a Saturday afternoon, so obviously, the six or so checkouts that were open had lines reaching halfway back through the place, and Sam’s is massive, right?

Hello, people! They have an app that lets you scan and pay, right on the app! No line! No wait! No scanning your membership card and credit card at the checkout! Get with it, folks!

I go to COSTCO on a weekeday, to avoid the crowds. But, I also miss most of the freebie sample foods.

I learned not to go to, at least our Costco, on Sunday ... they get no deliveries and all paper products are sold out.
I do want to make a Costco run soon, but not in the morning, afternoons are quieter ... and we have two self-check lanes with scanner guns, bing bang boom-done.
No more $1.50 Hot Dogs for us though I'm afraid. The last couple times we did have them it made our feet swell up something awful! Too much sodium for us.
