Glad she came to her senses!
She has no vision at all. Everything she hated was fixed in 12 months. Then I added upstairs.

I love St. George. When I was going to school in Tallahassee we used to go there. It's lovely. I imagine it's grown quite a bit since I lived there 40 years ago, LOL, but fond memories.
Florida is a great place to visit, but we both know it's not a great place to live (anymore). It was actually a great place to grow up in the 60s and 70s and still fun throughout the 80s, but that ship has sailed...good think you talked your wife out of it the 1st time. Hopefully she will vacillate more towards the PA move. PA is gorgeous and the people are quite nice!
Which is why I ended up with an Ohio man.Just do a Google search on "Florida Man."

My American ex is a Nevada man, surely worse than a Florida man is possible he was even born in Vegas. (yes, I have dated both an Englishman and an American before I met my husband. They're not the same person, lol)Which is why I ended up with an Ohio man.
An improvement, no doubt, but a marginal one at best:Which is why I ended up with an Ohio man.
You know, we used to have contests for that here...I think I may as well wear a wet T shirt as well
I'm sitting quietly draped with cloths soaked in cold water in front of a fan. In fact, I think I may as well wear a wet T shirt as well. The heat is really unbearable for me. And its not the hottest its going to get apparently.
Keep the curtains drawn, stay on the ground floor, keep the fans on, and drink as much water as you can.
Yeah we have no AC at home but living with this at all times also seems difficultI really feel for you Europeans. It is going up to 107F/42C today here, but we have air conditioning everywhere.
It is 100F right now, and I'm heading out for a CT Scan of my ribs. That's all I have planned for today, other than normal activities in the house.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, I'm afraid. You mean I actually have to drink water?
I was just reading an article today that essentially said, "Get used to it Europe/UK...75 years from now, people will be dreaming of a time when summers were 'just 40C.'"Yeah we have no AC at home but living with this at all times also seems difficult
