Plans for today (2023)

I wish I had skin like yours, so lovely!
It doesn't always look like that, I have psoriasis. But most of that is on the soles of my feet and under my hair, so kind of invisible to others.
However, sometimes I have a ' beard ' of psoriasis in my face for months. Thankfully though, my Crohns medication also works against psoriasis.

I had to drive over the Ohio River 3 times today: took me into West Virginia, back into Ohio, and back into West Virginia again, lol. Half of my trip was on roads that ran alongside that river. Why on earth they put ugly factories on such a beautiful river is beyond my comprehension.

Hey…you’re not far from the Mothman!

Mothman - Wikipedia

I loved that movie!
Point Pleasant is a weird and wild little town, if you ever have the chance to go. They have a really campy Mothman museum, and many days (when she was living, obviously), the woman who started it all would sit in there and interact with the public, and the statue downtown is something to see.

All of these towns on the river are weird and wacky!

I have a riverview hotel room. That's a view of people's houses in Ohio.

Plans for today:
get up at the butt crack of dawn
greet the landscape electrician and have him finish up with the landscape lighting project
get brunch for us two
pick up mail at the P.O. - we have some packages
hit the drug store for a few things
do a curbside pickup order at Target for my Mother

go over to Mother's apartment to:
change her bed sheets
do some laundry
help her to bathe, wash her hair and then blow dry it all pretty for her
meet with her Physical Therapist/evaluation visit
make sure Mom eats something - she hasn't been eating again!

Continuing on with things to do for us two:
green grocer for some fresh fruits & veg
hit Trader Joe's for all of my favorite things there (mainly wine )
and there's one more stop along that route home, but I forget now
In fact I just show the time - I GOTTA GO!!!

I accomplished all of the above ☝️ and I remembered what I forgot as I got into the car - fill the gasoline tank at Costco! 🙄
DH has been the main driver for maybe a month now and he has forgotten that we need to be mindful of putting gas at Costco!
It's anywhere from 20-50¢ per gallon cheaper and that makes a huge difference now that we have a larger vehicle with a V6 engine!!!
I have to say though, we have been averaging 23-26 miles/gallon, not bad!

Work, laundry, and I think I need a new battery in MrsT’s car. I have to decide if I want to run into town and get it myself, or let AAA come out to the house and replace it.

We pay enough for AAA, so that’s who I’m going with.

I'm getting about 24MPG in my SUV. It is a turbocharged 4 cylinder. But, it requires premium grade gas. But again, I live in Texas, where gas is cheaper than most places.
