Plans for today (2023)

Went through a phone call marathon (hate those)
  1. Vet clinic 1
  2. Hospital clinic 1
  3. Vet Clinic 2
  4. Apothecary
  5. Hospital clinic 2
  6. Vet clinic again
But hurray, I am done! Still need to wait for Hospital clinic 2 to call back though.. so tiring. I have to do these at least once a week generally. Chronic illness demands a lot of work to manage.

Other plans for today: go to apothecary, make dinner, clean toilets, do laundry. Start re arranging bedroom.

That’s true. MrsT is either at a doc’s office, on the phone with a doc’s office, at the pharmacy, or texting with a doc’s office just about every day.
Yep, and the amount of visits too. I am in hospital for consultation at least twice a month when my Crohns is active, which it's more often than not the past 7 years.
And that's not counting my other conditions.

Had a great plan for today, but it all went wrong as soon as the wife said:
"Can you put the suitcases away? And put all these old clothes in the car? And change my password for the bank?"
That blew it. She hasn't got a clue about passwords, never writes them down, but expects everyone else to know them by heart.
Finally had breakfast at 11.50am and the rest of the day was a disaster.
Never mind , because tomorrow is another day!

Plans for this weekend:
  • Visit fantasy fair on sunday
  • Eat viking food
  • Go to department store
  • Eat gelato
  • Visit bakery
  • Mop the floors
I want to add that I had the best week I had in ages! I was able to do housework 6 hours a day all week, the house hasn't been this clean in ages! I feel so happy. After the past year even just being a housewife will bring me joy in life.

Today, April 22, is Earth Day. I plan to plant my herbs and peppers that have been in the kitchen window for weeks. I usually like to plant a tree, too. I'll have to see what kind of tree planting activities are going on near me, and at least donate money to plant one. This Earth Day snuck up on me. I didn't hear anything about it until Friday evening.

Plans for the whole weekend:
  • Sort through my diving gear and dump my old tank, bcd, dry suit, octopus and everything else that is too dodgy to use any more.
  • Clean out the garden shed and dump all unwanted stuff.
  • Empty the outside store cupboard, dump all unwanted stuff, clean it, repaint the door and use it to store all the stuff I want out of the spare bedroom.

These plans were completed by 11am saturday, so now I have a weekend of leisure.
