Ate those frogs by 11.30am so an order of coffee syrup was deserved!
I have hours free!! What to do? I think I'm going to make a start on Easter Frippery and have a good look at Route 66 map plans.
And I thought today would be miserable!!

I texted that pic to my brothers, and the notorious Lee said, “You look like a man whose wife is about to spend $500 on a haircut.”

She’s actually not a shoo-in for the stylist, she’s going through a grueling interview first to see if the stylist will even agree to work on her.

Curiosity has the best of me, especially since I loved Mrs. T's hair in prior pics. Anyway, if not too forward, what was the outcome of the meeting with the stylist - can you share any details?

Yeah, sure. Stylist has agreed to take her on as a client, MrsT left with a buttload of instructions on how to prepare for her next appointment. It’s like a doc’s prep order.

She was in there for 2-1/2 hours!

And thank you on behalf of MrsT for that compliment - she’s very self-conscious about her wiry locks, even though every stylist tells her, “I have clients who’d murder someone for hair like that.”

Waiting for a prescription refill to come through, then I’ll be heading into town for that.

Got a text from the pharmacy this morning: “Your refill requires your doctor’s approval and they have not responded to our request. Please contact your doctor.”

Went into my patient portal (thank god for those) and sent my doc a quick message, got an immediate response: “They don’t need my approval, there were two refills included with the original prescription. Call your pharmacy and tell them that.”

I hate how pharmacies and doctors here put the patient in the middle.

Anyway, I called the pharmacy and they said, “Hmmmmm…it’s in our queue to refill, should be done around lunchtime, thanks.”

…so that was a half-hour of my time wasted.

We will be at our local pub for a comedy show that starts at 6pm, Tony Slattery, a meal, then another comedian at 9pm.

Tony Slattery! I didn’t realize he did stand-up. I thought he was just on TV. The last thing I remember watching him in was Kingdom, with Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie (yes, yet another celebrity crush ).

You must live near a nice pub, our local pub might switch on the sports channel once or twice a year, that's about it

Bought some Easter decs today. Have new little Easter tree that I can put away fully decorated and save me any Easter decorating hassle!
So what happens decorating event wise between Easter and Christmas?

He and 3 others did an improv show, very funny. Drink, drugs, age and bipolar have not been kind. I too had a crush on him.

It is a 'village pub' the landlord and lady have invested heavily over the years to make it as family friendly and community supportive as possible, comedy shows throughout the year and so many other different events. No games machines, no tv, 11pm curfew.
