Plans for today (2024)

I've ben laying around like a lump on a log. My left lumbar and hip have been bothering me a bit. Getting a massage on Tuesday.
Just back from physio.

He's been working on my left hip and left calf. The top of my left foot is numb at the moment from calf muscle issues. It's the side that took the nasty dig bite needing +114 stitches. I don't know the exact number, I stopped counting at that point much to the amusement of the plastic surgeon... anyhow not being able to fully feel the left calf (the poplateal nerve and artery were both totally severed) means I only know the calf is bad when I start having problems with my foot cramping/spasming and the top of it being numb. Today I noticed a big difference immediately after the session. The foot was a lot less numb.

Shame I needed to cut the lawn today and undo some of that good work.

Planning on writing up some more recipes today. I've done about 100 but there are still a few more to go!
Then I've got to contact the Bee Man, who supposedly is coming to remove a huge bees nest from next door's roof. They wouldn't normally bother me, but every time we start up the strimmer, the bees attack, so we can't cut the grass/slopes behind the house.
This picture was when it looked neat and tidy.(Now, it's semi-jungle!)

How does he remove them? Is he able to relocate them and put them to work making honey or are they not those kind of bees?

I've got no idea :D He's got an apiary, so I imagine he takes them there. I imagine it's got something to do with removing the queen bee.
Just got a call. His car broke down, so nothing till Wednesday:mad:

Usually they just lift up and off. It's often just gravity holding it on place.
There are some little fabric ties hanging down in the back…it’s all coming back to me… 😵‍💫 …two people have to pull down on the ties simultaneously to release the hooks, then lift the TV off. How am I going to manage that on my own?

Probably by futzing with it for 20 minutes, then getting angry and pulling it off the wall by force.

So, let's lay bets on how many pizzas feature in your meals in the next 2 weeks...
The maximum would be 3 × 14 = 42 but do we count snacks as well?
You might be surprised - I’ve been on my own since Saturday morning, and no pizza has touched these lips yet!

Get a radiator roller and paint around it. No-one will know, well not for a few years anyway 😝

I’m a clever boy, so I worked it out. I ran a length of twine through the handles of the two pulls, allowing me to pull both with one hand, and then lifted the TV off with the other. It’s not terribly big, so it was light.

Now how do I get this thing back on…?

What have you done with him? Where's TR?
I’m blaming that earlier post on some bad AI taking over my identity. 🤖

I need to be eating some stuff out of my freezer, though, so don’t be surprised if you see baby back rib pizza…or beer bratwurst lasagna…or chicken omelette or so other hybrid.
