Please help...we need more threads!

As TR said, they can add their photos of the dishes to the thread, but recipes would need to be kept in their own dedicated thread, similar to the ingredient challenge and a link put in to the recipe if they wished to.
Which forum should I post the threads in?

Which forum should I post the threads in?

It would depend on the subject of each one. A discussion about wraps, for example, would best fit in the Sandwiches, Pizzas, and Wraps subform, puff pastry in Baking, etc.

It will vary as TR states. So braising meat would be in the meat forum, roasted potatoes in the vegetables forum and so on.

Following the Turkish thread, how about we pick one cuisine each month and run a thread where we can post meals we either cooked or had at restaurants. Either a photo and brief description, or a full recipe if appropriate.

So "This month let's eat..."

Turkish would be an obvious start, and there are plenty of well accepted ones to follow, but we could go a little more general to cover less common cuisines, Nordic, South American, North African, even Australasia. That would leave a growing catalogue of ideas by region that would be easy to access.

I just talked to Tasty about that very thing. Was going to start posting a "Spotlight" on a cuisine.

Would you like to work with me on this? Make a list of cuisines and I can do a graphic with the cuisine in the spotlight.

I love the idea...
Although I'm going to be the only participant in "Venezuelan Cuisine" :hyper: :hyper:
Seriously: if we choose relatively common cuisines, we might have a winner here.

Can you help me with a list of cuisines. A broad choice, so it includes several countries. Like Middle eastern, or Asian.
Venezuelan Cuisine could part of South American cuisine?

Yep 🤣 that's why I suggested South American, to give a broader scope, although slightly insulting to a significant part of the World's population to lump their own cooking heritage in with countries thousands of miles away 😁.

what did you cook? threads
That's only done because we can't get people to remember they've changed month. I'm hoping people might pick up on the change from say Scots cooking and, I don't know, Thai or Vietnamese? But I could be asking too much I know.... :whistling:
