The CookingBites Recipe Challenge: Nov 2015-June 2017

I'm not sure I understand you.
Are you eating too edit the entry on the first post? The title? Or the actual wording on the featured thread?

And if you have any suggestions...

I could start a new thread each time there is a new challenge and feature that with the ingredient, deadline and a link to the first post on the new judge starting the new challenge... That would then get featured instead of this. Else there is the option for me to edit the actual wording that shows in the featured thread entry.... I'll think on it.
Oh I don't know really. I just meant a sort of fixed 'advert' which would display at the top of the page (not a new thread) - it would just say something like:
The current chosen ingredient for Cookingbites Recipe Challenge is CARROTS. Simply post recipes featuring carrots as an ingredient for a chance to win. It need not be your own recipe. To see the rules click here:XXXXXX

Right - we have this which leads to the first post in this thread. Hopefully it explains it all.

If you can think of any better word, just yell. I am open to ideas.

Only two entering?
I'm in the middle of cooking up something (literally)! I'll probably post the recipe tomorrow if it works out as I can photograph it better in daylight...
But why does no-one else post a carrot recipe. I mean, gosh, people post random recipes quite a lot and carrots are hardly an esoteric vegetable. Do you think people might not want the responsibility of being the next judge, if they win? Maybe that's it?

Perhaps if nothing happens soon I'll post a new thread asking why people aren't entering!

And me not being one, gets told off for posting one!
Post as many as you like! It may give people ideas...
The ingredient may be challenging people a touch too far and things will pick up naturally in January when people start on new year resolutions! :porky:
