The CookingBites Recipe Challenge: Nov 2015-June 2017

In the interests of keeping the competition going, we will give @cupcakechef another 24 hours and then the winner's badge will pass to second place. Sadly @cupcakechef hasn't been seen since Thursday and I think 5 days will be long enough (if not a touch too long, but...)

Does the last winner and judge agree? @classic33

Think that welsh dragon has taken on the job of Judge and Jury. And one more post from her puts her on 666!!

And I thought the "humble orange carrot" was an odd choice.
 
I just saw a conversation between classic and SNSSO about the winner not showing up and as tthat was the case, the person who was second (me) should get to choose the next ingredient. If that isnt the case, then so be it. SNSSO can close the recipe I posted and someone else can choose.

We do if @cupcakechef does not appear by midday today (as in Tuesday)...

We have agreed to relax the rules a touch now that members have the hang of tags... And the changes are reflected in the first post.

  • They are write up the recipe (not screenshots or links to other recipe sites)
  • tag the recipe with the correct tags for the recipe and the comp... (so carrot, souffle and cookingbites recipe challenge if it was a carrot souffle entered into the recipe challenge)
  • And finally out of politeness to mention here that you have entered it... A link to said recipe is a nicety not a requirement.

To clarify, if no @cupcakechef by midday today (Tuesday) then @welsh dragon who was listed as 2nd place will choose a new ingredient for the next challenge and @classic33 will do his best not to confuse her please!

And just to clarify, the new ingredient should be posted up here in this thread and I will update the featured thread accordingly...
