If I find it around here, I am scared of what it might cost. It's definitely not going to be $2 or $3 a pound. Can we use the 'weed' version in our recipes? Some around here get very excited when they hear the word 'weed' mentioned and would be happy to volunteer 'weed' recipes even if not parsnip.

I can't wait to make it next week actually, though I may omit the fennel from the recipe because it is not the cheapest of ingredients and I'm not actually that fond on it anyway!

Edit: we are now having the spicy roasted Parsnip soup instead.

Early in the week, I was thinking that we were only going to have about three or four entries, but we seem to have a parsnip surge. The only drawback is that I'll have to go through them all and pick one.
