A total of 15 entries, about 14 more than I was expecting. I do not intend to turn this into an Oscar awards ceremony, although I would like to thank the friend of the friend of the friend of my postman's plumber, etc.
However...there was a lot to like. I gravitate towards spicy things because the sweetness of parsnips complements the hot spiciness well. On that basis, the spicy parsnip soup, parsnip balti and the vegetable curry leapt to the top of the board.

Thank you Morning Glory but I don't want this to be a Miss Columbia situation, so I am going to wait and get my official notification before I am embarrassed and find out I am not the winner. In the meantime I have my acceptance speech prepared so I don't end up like Teraji P Henson and have people step on my train and play the music on me. My speech is right here on a piece of paper which I'll pull maybe from my bra (smh) and rattle off before the music starts to play. Sorry Duck, I've waited "20 years" so you might have to suffer for 20 mins with my speech if I am in fact the winner.Congratulations @winterybella! A worthy winner.
