The CookingBites Recipe Challenge: Nov 2015-June 2017

Well a big thank you to all of you who participated in the last cooking bites recipe challenge. You all contributed some nice recipes. I make a special mention of the recipe for Corn Bread contributed by @Cinisajoy.This was a nice simple recipe. Creamy Confetti Corn with Bacon by @winterybella was also an interesting combination of ingredients.

However, I make no hesitation in announcing the one who came out on tops with a very colourful and impressive-looking photograph. I declare the winner of this challenge to be @morning glory with her Self Devouring Salad. This dish looks really healthy, colourful, and easy to put together too.

Again, thanks to everyone for the contributions you made.

So, @morning glory , it is over to you to choose the next ingredient for the challenge.

Congratulations @morning glory. I'll write up what I do to the thread once each comp has closed layer today. Need a quiet day... That way next time both of us can do it, so don't worry about things not changing until later.

We need a congratulations banner like the welcome one @Shaun

OK. I just have to choose eggs as the next ingredient. Available (I trust) to all members here and very versatile. Eggs have been featuring in a number of threads recently and @SatNavSaysStraightOn even has her own egg producing hens! Any kind of eggs: chicken, goose, duck, quail, ostrich - even fish eggs are permitted! But they must be a key element of the recipe. So a cake mix containing eggs wouldn't count.

Sweet or savoury, the choice is yours. Just make those entries egg-citing! :D

sadly (and I have the same issue), no... it was one of the rules on the first page. But there is nothing stopping you from amending the recipe and having a variation that is significantly different to warrant a new picture and recipe. Sorry. (I have uploaded a number of my grannie's recipes here that I have made over the years for someone then to select a key ingredient from them as a challenge ingredient and have sat an cursed silently!)
