No walleye down here. Texarkana is an interesting place. There is a street called Stateline Avenue. If you are on the Northbound side, you are in Arkansas, if you are on the Southbound side, you are in Texas.

I've been to Texarkana many times, as well as Bristol, TN and College Corner, OH, which both have that same distinction.

There's a great line in a Steve Earle/Del McCoury song, with respect to Bristol, where he says, "I shot him in Virginia, and he died in Tennessee." - meaning he shot him across the street.

I love that line.

At noon today, it was 74F/23C outside. Now, just after 5 PM, it is 34F/1C outside. It is heading to a low of 21F/-6C overnight.

EDIT: it is now 32F/0C outside, and dropping like a stone. It is also getting windy. I am sitting next to a North facing double pain window, and it is making strange noises as the temperature rapidly drops. I am also getting condensation on the inside of the window, which is pretty rare with double pane windows. It is still warm and humid inside of the house.

It has been an hour since my last update, and it has dropped another 4 degrees to 28F/-2C. :cold:

It is still 69F inside the house. I have a very well insulated house, so I probably won't need to turn on the heating systems until morning.

New update: It is 11;40 PM, and 21F/-6C. It was 50 degrees warmer 12 hours ago. My bedroom is still 68F, I did turn on the master bathroom heater. I set the upstairs and downstairs heating systems to 66. My dog keeps looking at the fireplace -- hint, hint.

29°C here at 13:00. I took my jacket off an hour ago. It will likely be back on before 17:00.
