Gas at the pumps just hit 2.00 a liter in British Columbia and NFLD or 9.00 a gallon.
It is about $3.50 a gallon for Regular in Frisco. My cars require premium, so I pay more per gallon, but I don't drive a lot, so my fuel costs are reasonable.

Yep. 2.00 a liter in 2 other Provinces. Is that 1.60 Canadian dollars per litre?
I remember when I was a kid living as an army brat, my dad mentioning the gas prices in Lahr Germany when we lived there being so much more than what it cost in Canada, and it's still the case obviously. That is cheaper than the UK. The current price here is currently £1.53 per litre (which is 2.58 Canadian dollars).
Translating that to gallons and US dollars makes my brain hurt!
“Fine, I understand.”When I hassle her about it she usually says something that starts with an F and ends with a U.
1.72 here in The ‘FrewWhoops lol, gas this morning went up to 184.9 a liter in Ontario..
Not by a long shot“Fine, I understand.”

Why should I edit it? I don't understand what's unclear about it. I guess I am using the word 'distinction' in the wrong place, but my brain is too fogged up to make anything else out of it right now.You may want to re-read your first sentence, and edit it???
Sweets and Candy are both used here, but sweets is a broader term, that includes pastries, cookies, cakes and pies. Basically anything "sweet."

Candy is also candy in the US
