Struggling to drink so nipped next door and our neighbour generously gave me 4 reusable straws. The 1 thing I didn't think about.

Our electric toothbrush has just died.

Originally purchased 8th January 2016 for £112.49, it has been used by 2 people everyday (total of 5 brushes a day) for just under 6¼ years. I guess we had our money's worth!

I now have to go shopping for a new one. Wish me luck. I hate shopping.

I once said on here, that my greatest regret is not being allowed to study due to my parents not having faith in me and being abusive, and not having the chance later in life.

Well, that has now changed! I am going to study again, at pre - higher education level. I don't know much about other country's school systems, but what I am going to do now is comparable to a school that prepares you for university or other higher education. Because I've been out of a study environment for so long (18 years!) , I am starting with only English to learn to study again as English at that level should be a breeze for me. Of course, Dutch should be too as I am bilingual but English is a lot more fun to study than Dutch would be.

My English course starts on april 25th!

If that turns out well, I'm starting my second class and will go on until I have completed the program! I've got 10 years to finish, so I should be able to do this

Fantastic! What do you hope to study at degree level?

I have no idea yet, once I have finished this I will have pre-university GCSE grades (I really have no clue how to compare our system to yours) and studying at university yields so many options I've dreamed about that I will need all my time studying for this to figure out what I want!

Some dreams of mine in no particular order:
-Teaching English
-Teaching History
-Studying theology, but finding any kind of job in that requires me to become a professor so that might be a bit much
-Studying journalism so I can become a food critic
-Studying any higher education about food
-Teaching the culinary arts
-Going to the school for classical music after all (they said I was talented.. )

There's so many options I will need the 5 years of study I need for this to decide lol.

Honestly teaching GCSE level English seems the most likely, and my best friend is actually a teacher giving that so that would be a great help. And that I am bilingual should be helpful too.
